Conjunctivitis is also known as Pink Eye. Pink eye is an inflammation of the thin layer in your eye. It could be caused by either a bacteria or a virus. Pink eye is very contagious and it is mostly seen in younger kids but not uncommon in adults.
Symptoms are red, itchy eyes, and mucus coming out of the eye
Treatments are mostly home remedies such as putting a warm compress on the eye, and put in eye drops. If symptoms are much worse, seeking medical attention is advised.
