Swelling in the area beneath the skin, typically can rise from an allergic reaction, but it can also be hereditary. There are different types of angioedema, for example drug induced, allergic, and idiopathic (which means there is no clear reason why it could be happening)
Symptoms include swelling in the face, hands, feet, and genitals.
Treatments include EpiPen injection, and antihistamines. For hereditary angioedema treatment would be concentrated more on the C1 inhibitor which is what generally people are missing.
